Overview |
The Grand Dutchess is a gorgeous Victorian mansion which makes you feel good the moment you walk through the door. We offer warmth and congeniality that encourages interaction with a diverse group of fellow excursions and a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. And, to top it off, there will be a hearty delicious breakfast that will last you through an active day.
This is our home. We're proud of its beauty, and anxious to show it off. We want you to enjoy every aspect of our Inn, from the impressive formal parlors, to the privacy of your elegant and charming bedroom, and every moment of your stay, whether diving into your "killer" (and we mean it) breakfast, relaxing in the afternoon on our two large porches, or exploring the endless array of Hudson Valley pleasures. | |

| Directions | From the East:
Taconic Parkway to exit Route 199. Route 199 west to traffic light. Bear right at traffic light. Continue into village of Red Hook. At traffic light in village, make a right turn. Look for the big blue-and-white house on your left one-third mile after the light.
From the West:
New York Thruway to exit 19 (Kingston). At the traffic circle, take Route 28 north to Route 209 north. Follow 209 north over the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge. After crossing the river, Route 209 becomes Route 199.
At second light bear right on Route 9G. Take a left at the next traffic light (Route 9 north); 3 miles to village of Red Hook. In the center of the village is a traffic light.
Go through traffic light (when it turns green, of course) and look for the big blue-and white house on your left, one-third mile past the light. |
